We with Margy visited now Costa Rica for the second time. First time 5-6 years ago we used “Go2day.com” organized excursion to see almost all interested parts of Costa Rica . We started by bus from the Capital San Jose to the Caribbean coast on east and crossed the country to the west, visiting active Volcano in the middle and participating in Rainforest and Banana plantation excursion. We stopped at the west coast in some Sea Beach Resort. The last part was to travel to some southern river to see live Crocodiles, fed by our guide by row chickens.
This time we participated only in Rainforest and Banana Plantation on Shore tour ( only for 8 hours) by Minibus, started from Port of Limon. Our guide was very competent and kept our attention for 3-4 hours listening his explanation and looking around ourselves after that.. We started from watching monkeys jumping around the trees adjacent to the road. After monkeys the bus stopped at some Banana plantation on the other side of the road for some 30 minutes only and finally entered in the Rainforest for 2-3 hours. We saw many animals like: monkeys, slots, opossums, iguanas, toucans, frogs, snakes, birds, ants, worms etc. I took many photos of the branches of the trees with single slots and of many monkey's jumping around the branches,The path in the Forrest was full of hanging and walking animals. I scared one opossum , who went very slow away. Around the Forest was very good sandy beach with going to the see and laying on the sum tourists. In the end of the trip we stopped at some coffee to drink cold Coco milk directly from the nut frits by plastic tube. I took a lot of photos everywhere , posted in this rich Album for Rainforests of Costa Rica and some Banana plantation.
