CHRISTMAS LIGHTS IN THANKSGIVING WEEK, WHISTLER, B.C. NOV.2016

Like every year since 1998 we spent our Thanksgiving Week in Whistler, BC, Canada in our time share small apartment in Whisky Jack Resort at the Village center. There was a little snow in the Village and more snow on both Black Comb and Whistler Mountains. I did skiing 1 day before opening and 3 more days after opening of the ski-season and all ski runs. Every evening we with Margy were walking around the village enjoying the beautiful Christmas lighting one  month before Christmas. All trees on the central streets and in the Olympic garden were decorated with blue, green and red lights. On Thanksgiving day we made traditional Turkey Dinner with our Friends Misho (Mike) and  Maya.

On the back way to Seattle we stopped at Canadian  Duty free shop to refill our Scotch Whisky - Caribbean Rom - French Brandy - Irish Cream bar. The road was clean and dry, the sky - blue. It was very pleasant vacation .

The charges for skiing and the maintenance fee of our unit increase every year, but the traveling is very cheap. We are always  using our cars and only one thank with gasoline, bought in Seattle. In Canada everything is 2 times more expensive than in USA. We carry all food and drinks from home. Canada is naw very expensive  for retired Americans. But Whistler, BC is the best ski-resort around Washington State of USA and we can't resict to not going there.
